About

Growing up in Munich I now live in Berlin. Here I studied art history and philosophy at Humboldt University and gained experience working with various political consultancies. I am motivated by my curiosity regarding social interaction and keen interest in emerging technologies.

I am a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences at TampereUniversity in Finland. As an empirical qualitative study, my work focuses on the representation, production, and utilization of health on mobile devices, particularly examining the transformative effects of interface design strategies. My initial research paper delves into the Apple Watch Activity app. As a member of the research cluster Trust and Visuality: Everyday Digital Practices, I am investigating how people trust in health content on social media. This project is based onan international collaboration between the Universities of Tampere, Tallinn, Salzburg and Oxford.

As a moderator, I collaborate with the Berlin-based agency konnektiv, conducting engagements in both German and English. My expertise lies in digital transformation and civic tech. I regularly moderate the Demo Day of the Prototype Fund, an open-source funding program of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), on behalf of the Open Knowledge Foundation Germany. At re:publica, I serve as a stage host on the festival stage in Berlin and have moderated a panel discussion on diversity and resistance in technology in collaboration with the Silbersalzfestival in Halle. Other collaborations include panels and moderations for the Hippo AI Foundation, ada, and the Forum Environment and Development.
